Aqua Sana shortlisted for Spa Group of the Year in global awards

We’re thrilled to announce that Aqua Sana has been shortlisted for two awards in the World Spa and Wellness Awards 2023. Launched in 2012, the prestigious World Spa and Wellness Awards aim to recognise the very best spas around the globe, assessed by experienced industry professionals.

We are very proud to be finalists for both Spa Group of the Year, and Spa Team of the Year (Aqua Sana Sherwood Forest).

Why has Aqua Sana been shortlisted for Spa Group of the Year?

Our unique spa concept

Aqua Sana brings the benefits of forest bathing together with a variety of sensory experiences inspired by the world’s most extraordinary natural environments and healing traditions from around the globe. Each of our six spas are nestled deep in the heart of the forest, offering up to 25 spa experiences as well as panoramic views of the woodland.

We’ve introduced new features to the spa

We listened to our guests’ feedback and introduced some new features to ensure our spa experience is as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Guests are now provided with a branded tote bag containing their robe and towel, with their name on, which they take into the spa with them. We’ve provided places within the spa for guests to leave their books, magazines and glasses. We’ve also introduced a new Welcome Ritual in our spa treatments, which consists of a hand and arm massage whilst discussing the treatment and any specific areas to concentrate on.

Wellbeing for everyone

We believe everyone deserves to feel good in their body, and we’re proud to support guests with additional needs. Our team are trained to discreetly support guests who require alternative options for changing, and all of our spa pools have hoists, allowing guests with limited mobility to also enjoy the feeling of floating beneath the open sky. We offer a wide range of treatments which are suitable for those who have had cancer, or who are currently undergoing cancer treatment, as well as for those who have difficulty lying down.

Why has Aqua Sana Sherwood Forest been shortlisted for Spa Team of the Year?

The team at Aqua Sana Sherwood Forest are friendly, supportive and caring, so it’s no surprise that their average guest satisfaction scores are over 95%. They pride themselves on delivering a seamless guest journey, with our Reception team, Changing Room Hosts, Vitalé Café Bar Hosts, Spa Hosts and Therapists all working in harmony to welcome and support guests every step of the way. The strength of the team’s bond is what makes them so successful – they trust and support each other, and celebrate one another’s achievements. This creates a warm and positive atmosphere in the spa that our guests can feel too.

Being shortlisted for not one but two awards is testament to the hard work of our Aqua Sana team. The winners will be announced at the World Spa and Wellness Awards ceremony, taking place in London on Sunday 5^th March 2023. Wish us luck!
