Our highly skilled therapists at all five Aqua Sana spas have completed training with the wellbeing organisation, Wellness for Cancer, to provide speciality treatments for Center Parcs guests affected by cancer.
Wellness for Cancer is a company that specialises in delivering cancer-aware training for spa professionals.
The two organisations have been working together since the end of 2015, to ensure Aqua Sana guests will be able to enjoy the benefits of spa treatments, safe in the knowledge that therapists understand their special needs.
Kerry Fenton-Kent, Group Spa Manager for Aqua Sana said she has been looking for specialist training for her teams for many years. “We are delighted to finally be able to offer our staff the expertise needed to deliver rejuvenating experiences to those who have been affected by this disease,” she says.
“I’m sure many will agree that everyone deserves to enjoy the benefits spa has to offer and we’re pleased we’ve found a way to bring what we offer to those who are certainly in need of some pampering and ‘me’ time.”
The therapists have learned how to carry out treatments with varying levels of touch and pressure, entirely tailored to the individual’s health, needs and preference, allowing them the opportunity to enjoy the soothing and restful benefits of massage.
Choose either a 25-minute back, neck and shoulder massage, or 55-minute full body massage, the Wellness Massage will be available at Aqua Sana from May.
In June, we’ll also be carrying out additional therapist training to offer three facials, also in collaboration with Wellness for Cancer. Check back soon for updates on availability.
